Hurricane Season

The Atlantic Hurricane season officially runs from June 1st to November 30th, although it is possible that storms can occur outside of these dates, such as late May or early December.

The peak of the season is August through October, when the heat engine of the oceans is providing plenty of fuel for storm formation and maintenance. The most active part of the peak is typically in early to mid-September.
